Project Scope

Chase were involved with University of Birmingham new Brain Health centre during 2018 and finished works in Spring 2019.

All pipework was insulated with Kingspan Phenolic section. In plantrooms below 2m, aluminium cladding was installed. A full trace heating system was supplied and installed also to all external pipework and finally a PIB rubber weatherproofing was applied.

All ductwork was insulated with mineral wool wrap and slab. Again in plantrooms it was Aluminium cladding up to 2m but there was also a significant amount on the external plant deck which also needed Aluminium cladding.

The facility houses MRI scanners amongst other high tech instruments and Chase is proud to have help deliver a project which will hopefull improve or save the lives of people with Brain Injuries.
